2008 — 2014
BACK TO BIONIC was intended to boost the electro culture.
BACK TO BIONIC was originally a crew founded in 2008, in France (at Lille), by a DJ, JON MERICK, and a Graffiti Writer, KAWSE_3000, It had also some affiliated members like DARYL88 and JOE87.
The two members JON MERICK & KAWSE
had an Hip-Hop background and wanted to reconnect the people to the real Hip-Hop’s roots which are ELECTRO music. Therfore, we proposed a travel into the time and into the galaxy.
Our Motto was retro-futuristic:
At first, we started by releasing the MIX CD entitled « CYBORG DEFENDERS » that get none attention although his great quality.
Mainly in 2008, we made few conceptual EVENTS including a Dj guest (like EGYPTIAN LOVER, UMWELT), a DIY decor and also a fancy dress. Our approach was ahead of its time and not appropriated for our arera therefore we failed…
Then, our project evolved into a well-respected Electro BLOG run mainly by myself from 2010 to 2014. Although the blog was a niche success, I could not continue to spend my time to promote the scene instead of be focused in my personnal projects
Everything is a time matter. Few years after, ELECTRO music is back in front of music stage.
At time, I was a Graffiti Writer (KAWSE) and 10 years after, under the alias SERA VOCERA, I started to mix as a DJ
